MDL Meadowstone complements Natural Stone

MDL Meadowstone was recently chosen as the best material to complement a prestigious new-build country house in Leicestershire.

A local natural iron stone walling product was used for walling on the main structure and MDL Meadowstone for the decorative dressings. With products manufactured to exceed rigorous British and International standards, MDL Meadowstone are now full members of the British PreCast Concrete Federation, which means that the Company’s designs can be confidently used in building projects where high performance cast stone is needed.

Another benefit of MDL Meadowstone’s semi-dry cast stone is that it often weathers more quickly than natural stone, acquiring a patina after only a couple of years outside. Consequently, it will soon blend in with existing stonework on traditional or classical buildings. Copings and window surrounds are not the only cast stone features that can be used to enhance the appearance of a property – other elements such as quoins, string courses, classical columns and porticoes can add value to a home.
